UTILIZATION TILAPIA ( OREOCHROMIS NILOTICUS ) IN IMPROVED NUTRITION IN TEMPEH FISH

Consumption of freshwater fish such as Tilapia is favored by the Indonesian people, because the meat is thick and tasty and affordable. Mungkid area, Magelang regency is one of the places that was developed as a village Menapolitan and IBW program supports the development of tilapia fish farming as a flagship product in the area Mungkid, the Magelang district. With rise of tilapia fish farming, hence the use of fish as source of animal protein needs to be developed for a variety of processed fish products. At this time, the utilization of fish as a mixture in the manufacture of tempeh, not yet on the market, therefore it is lifted IBW program focus on the utilization of tilapia fish for soybean production.
