DEVELOPING SUSTAINABLE AQUACULTURE BY THE APPLICATIN OF STRATIFIED DOUBLE NET CAGE FOR INTEGRATED MULTI TROPHIC AQUACULTURE:

This study emphasizes the importance of utilizing the resource waters / sea sustained with greater depth in line with the spirit of the economic program of blue (blue economy) as a new economic paradigm to improve the welfare of the people of Indonesia, so it supports the strategic program of the government in the development and improvement of food production in fisheries , Through Act No. 17 of 2007 on Long Term Development Plan (RPJP) National from 2005 to 2025, Indonesia has tried and is committed to managing natural resources in a sustainable manner. The law also emphasizes that the natural resources and the environment has a dual role as development capital as well as the support system of life. Furthermore, Indonesia is implementing Integrated Coastal Management by pouring in Law No. 27 Year 2007 on the Management of Coastal Areas and Small Islands (PWP-PK). The above efforts should be supported by all parties, one through research oriented to the application of science and technology for the sustained production capacity increase without causing environmental problems.
