Prof. Sapto P. Putro, Ph.D as one of keynote speaker at the 8th International Conference on Food and Nutrition

This hybrid conference is themed “Innovative Approaches to Global Nutrition and Sustainable Food Systems.” Participants will have the opportunity to explore current advancements and research in the field of food science and nutrition, gaining extensive knowledge, novel ideas, and insights from experts in the area. Prof. Sapto Purnomo Putro, Ph.D., from Diponegoro University, attended the 8th International Conference on Food and Nutrition (ICFN 2025) held on May 22–23, 2025, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as a keynote speaker. The event, organized by IFERP Life Sciences and the Universal Society of Food and Nutrition (USFN), revolved around the theme “Innovative Approaches to Global Nutrition and Sustainable Food Systems.” In his keynote address, Prof. Sapto shared insightful perspectives on the integration of environmental and biological sciences to support sustainable food systems, drawing from his extensive academic and research experience. In addition to his role as a speaker, Prof. Sapto also represented the Center for Marine Eco-Biology and Sustainable Aquaculture (Ce-MEBSA), where he serves as CEO. As one of the academic partners of the conference, Ce-MEBSA played an important role in supporting the scientific program by promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and contributing to the advancement of research and innovation in sustainable aquaculture and marine-based nutrition strategies.
